History and Aim of AEAUSA
Conceived in 2015 by the Cameroonian-born US citizen, Dominic Tamin, along with a team of young Pan Africanists, the AEAUSA is a non-profit organization currently headquartered in New Jersey, USA. It has since spread its reach by establishing field offices in over ten countries in Africa and the Caribbean.
AEAUSA endeavours to harness Africa’s diversity and potential in arts and culture and channel it toward the unification of Africans globally, fostering sustainable livelihoods and catalyzing participative involvement in national and international concerns.
Bright Stars on the Nomination List
Among the six distinguished Liberian entertainers nominated, top artists MC Caro aka King of the rap game, had an exceptional 2023. Her international hit ‘Baby’ released in late 2022, and her songs ‘Eleven‘ and ‘Umm Hum‘ ruled the charts throughout 2023, and Nuchie Meek, who reigned supreme in 2023. His tracks ‘Go Sue Me‘ and ‘Buh Da Lie‘ went viral, garnering millions of streams on different platforms. This successful year paved the way for his nomination as Best Hip Hop/Rap Artist at the AEAUSA 2023. Can Nuchie take home the gold? Meanwhile, legendary Liberian Video Director Jackie Russ, who recently swept up the Best Music Video Director award at the Shinning Star Africa Awards in South Africa, has earned himself a nomination as the Best Music Video Director at the AEAUSA 2023. He competes intensely in that category with legends such as Clarence Peters, TG Omori, Director K and others..

The talented JZyNo, hitmaker of the wave-making single “Butta My Bread,” featuring Ghanaian artist Lasmid, that exploded on the international stage, becoming the most-streamed Liberian song ever, hitting over 100 million views.
